I generally don’t make up characters (or at least well thought-out characters anyway), but I did on my drive home from Huntington last night. But now I can’t figure out what to do with him, can’t figure out hia story. Maybe I will work on it when I am back in Boston.

Winter on the hill.
My hill is completely still in the winter, covered with sparkling whiteness, and quiet, much too quiet. Sometimes I love this stillness, these silent moments outside to think and shiver in my heavy winter boots. There are things I miss about the summer though.
